About Us

Who We Are
Metsons, a firm of Chartered Accountants, was established in 2002.
We originally offered accounts and tax services only but in 2020, Adrian Metson, studied for the probate exams and was able to offer this additional service from January 2021.
We have 2 staff and if you would prefer a personal service then you should talk to us.
Our history
The business commenced trade in 2002 and has grown each year through client recommendations and existing clients returning each year for help with their tax.
It now operates from St Mary's, Isles of Scilly in Cornwall but still continues to service existing and new clients in Kent by visiting our old office in Meopham once a month for meetings.

2021
From 1 January 2021, Metsons started offering probate services to clients and non-clients. This has proved very popular and gives Meopham residents more choice rather than use the local solicitors in Longfield/Gravesend.
2022
Metsons is celebrating 20 years in business this year.
Metsons moved to a brand new purpose built office in March 2022. This will provide a more modern office space for staff and clients and help with our continued expansion.
2025
Metsons is now registered as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP), also known as a Companies House authorised agent.
In July, Metsons relocated to St Mary's on the Isles of Scilly. We will continue to serve our Kent clients by visiting once a month for face to face meetings.
In October, Adrian Metson was accredited as a Commissioner of Oaths. This allows him to sign statutory declarations and other important legal documents to help clients that would have previously needed to contact a solicitor.
